Eating Out - Buxton and Surrounds Restaurants & Food |
|
| Buxton
and the surrounding countryside has many good eating establishments. I cannot list them all, so here's a selection to cover all tastes and pockets. Details of restaurants providing take-away food are included with the restaurant details, however for those establishments dealing only in take-away, click here |
|
Food in PubsThe majority of the Pubs do meals and snacks to a greater or lesser degree. However, rather than repeat the details in this list, click the Pub Grub sign and you can get the details. |

Columbine7 Hall BankBuxton 01298-78752 It has cellar rooms which make it larger than you'd at first imagine, but even so, it has a friendly, intimate atmosphere. The menu might not be the largest you have seen, but it has variety and the food is well prepared and served. One of our favourites. |

Buckingham Hotel - Restaurant and Cavery1 Burlington RoadBuxton 01298-770481 The hotel itself, and Ramseys bar are in other sections on this site, but I include here as well because this is a popular eating establishment. The food is well prepared, good value (especially the Sunday lunch Carvery) and together with the availability of a wide selection of drinks make it a very pleasant experience. |

Take-Away |
|
| There
are a number of fish and chip and fast food shops. Some well established,
others seem to come and go. The majority are situated in or immediately
adjacent to the Market Place, although there are others in Spring Gardens
and on London Road. |
