Bonsall Village
The cottage is located in Bonsall, a lovely village which borders the southern edge of the Peak National Park

Apart from the beautiful setting with access to the adjacent Derbyshire Dales. Whether exploring by car, bicycle or walking, Bonsall is an ideal base for discovering the many treasures of the Peak District


The village has two public houses and a farm shop.There is also a regular bus service from Matlock, via Cromford

Matlock and Matlock Bath

  • Masson Mill
    1783 saw Sir Richard Arkwright establish his cotton spinning mill here on the outskirts of Matlock Bath. You can see the working textile museum as well as visit the shops and cafe
  • Cromford Mill
    Arkwrights' earlier mill is a World Heritage Site and is undergoing restoration
  • Heights of Abraham
    Travel on the cable car high up over Matlock Bath and visit the caverns and the shop. Relax in the coffee shop or the bar whilst taking in tremendous views over Matlock Bath
